South Hampshire College Group have won the ‘Innovation’ Award in the 802nd Southampton Lord Mayor Awards.

The South Coast Institute of Technology was launched to increase education and employment opportunities across maritime, engineering and digital industries for generations to come. These accomplishments were taken into consideration by the awarding committee during the awarding process.

The Lord Mayor Awards is a prestigious ceremony held at the O2 Guildhall in Southampton, which marks the commencement of the Lord Mayor’s year in office and is open to the public. The historic annual event also contains a small number of Business Awards, which are awarded to exceptional organisations within the Southampton community.
