Our evening courses provide a fun and friendly setting to grow your skills. Delivered through hands-on workshops, you will gain the understanding and confidence to use your camera in a range of environments.
An eight-week course ideal for students with some photographic experience or ability. You will improve your knowledge of camera operations, image composition, and lighting in order to take better photos.
Improvers & Beginners Courses
Ideal for students who would like to further develop their camera skills and creative outlook. Over nine weeks, you will build your technical understanding and take your photographic practice to a more independent and individual level.
Advanced Photography Courses
Progress your photography skills and work towards a career with our university-level qualifications.
Through an HNC or HND in Photography, you’ll become a true professional – developing advanced skills, building a varied portfolio, and gaining real-world experience with client led projects.
Perfect for those who need to balance study with work, childcare, and other responsibilities, with teaching delivered at Southampton College two days a week.
A one-year Level 4 qualification equivalent to the first year of a university degree.
HNC Photography
