Today we woke up at Vijiji lodge and headed down for breakfast. We were joined at breakfast by Simba one of the lodge’s guard dogs! After a nice breakfast we headed to Tanapa national park headquarters. This is where the students were due to do their hand on work experience for the day. We had a small talk/ orientation from a man who works in marketing and tourism at the national park. He explained that the World travel awards were coming up and they were showing local people how to vote. We then drove to a local college with the staff from the headquarters so the students could teach some of the college students how to vote for this!

After this, the group went to go grab some lunch and headed back to the Vijiji lodge. Everyone had some time to chill out a little bit before dinner. We all headed over for dinner which was Spaghetti Bolognese. As soon as we had all finished our dinner it started to pour down with rain! So we had a very wet walk back to our rooms!!
