Day three-
Today was a really good day, we ended up going to the art museum and a glass melting place which was not planned but it was nice to see something different. In the art museum we looked at all the paintings and art work, we also went to the gift shop and had a look around and brought some gifts.
In the glass making place, we learnt sign language to communicate with the workers. We learnt how to say hello, how are you, good, good job and thank you. We got to watch how blankets were made and how they recycle glass bottles and turn them into ornaments. We went to the gift show and I brought a glass elephant, which is really cool as i got to watch them get made with melted glass.
After that we went to a local restaurant and got to look in the kitchen at how they made the food and got to pick exactly what we wanted. I had lamb, rice and chicken and it was lovely.
In the afternoon, we went to the tourism board and had a briefing about the tourism in Tanzania. I learnt new things such as; every group has its own traditions, there are city tours in Arusha, there are four religions, and the tours are completely customisable.
When we got back after a long day, we took pictures and chilled around the pool until dinner time. For tonight’s dinner we had pasta, chicken and bread rolls.
