Today was an extra early start, and we got breakfast to go then got onto the mini bus and headed straight towards the St Mary’s college for placement and volunteering. We sat in the morning assembly and listened to the prayers and morning announcements, we then were introduced to the students by father Phillips.

We were then put into pairs and sorted into different classrooms to work in for the rest of the day. I was put into grade one which is equivalent to reception class form the uk. The children were extremely excited and friendly and loved sharing their work and learning with us students. After 12 we returned to the hotel ate lunch and went on a walk to a few gift shops and mini markets and have been in the hotel since.
