Day 8
We woke up in our lush bed, I actually never wanted to get out. Then we just chilled a bit as we haven’t been able to have a lie in for a while. We then headed down to breakfast and I just had some fruit which was so refreshing and just what I needed. Then for the rest of the day we just chilled, I sat by the pool but in the shade as i got sun burnt the day before and didn’t want to make it worse.

We then saw that the hotel we are staying in had a little gift shop ran by the sweetest guy ever. He told us he hadn’t had a customer at all this month as it’s slow season at the moment. I think everyone bought something from there as his souvenirs were so cute. I ended up buying stuff for basically everyone as it was all so nice. For the rest of the day, everyone just chilled. It was nice to relax for a day as the previous days were so busy. Me, Kenzie and Phoebe were just chilling in our room then Phoebe woke up from her little nap, looked out the window and goes “That’s mount Kilimanjaro”. We all then got up so quickly, out to the balcony and just sat looking at mount Kilimanjaro. It was honestly such a pretty view and the pictures don’t do it justice. It was nice to finally see the whole mountain as every time we tried to see it was cloudy and we couldn’t see anything. After a little bit, it was time for dinner, i just had some chips as i didn’t really want anything big but they were so good. Then we just headed back to our room and chilled for the rest of the night. It was much needed.
