Today we were leaving the Vijiji Centre to go and stay with the Masai tribe. We had already packed all our stuff the night before and had our suitcases ready at the door all packed to put on the bus. But before we went to stay with the tribe we visited Kilimanjaro; no we didn’t climb it but we visited one of the gates and had a presentation delivered to us so we could learn all about tourism and facts to do with Kilimanjaro.
After our rainy stop at Kilimanjaro we made our way to a college where a teacher came and spoke to us about what he teaches (tourism) and told us all about the classes and the campus.

After this he gave us a short tour of the campus and showed us a bunker which led to different places under the college. We then made our way to the Masai village which was a two hour drive from the college.
When we arrived we were greeted by the tribe with a welcome song and we were shown to our huts and I shared my hut with Jamiee. After putting our suitcases away we made our way outside to where the tribe were making a fire and we were all sitting around it. We then had dinner and made our way back into our huts and went to bed.
