Day 10 – This morning we went for breakfast at about 8:30 I had pancakes and maple syrup. We then left at about 9:30 to start are first day of work experience. We were off to the TANPA headquarters for a day. We started off by meeting a man that works there and he spoke to us about all the job roles there and how they all work together to complete certain jobs. He also explained the different national parks in Tanzania and that there main one is the Serengeti national park. They were put into the world travel awards for their national parks and country. They were only competing against Africa at the moment but if they won this one they would compete with the rest of the world. We went to a nearby college to vote and then we had to show the other students how to vote as-well.

After that we had lunch at the sports bar that we have already been before. Me and Ellie shared chips and beef, it was very nice. After lunch we then went back to vijiji lodge and chilled for a bit in mine and Ellie’s room until dinner. We had spaghetti and chips which was very nice. Half way through dinner it started chucking it down with rain, we all waited for bit to see if it would die down but it didn’t it just got heavier. So we had to go back from dinner in the pouring rain and got soaking wet. We are now just chilling in our room until we go to sleep.
