Looking to learn how various equipment is maintained and repaired? This T Level will support you to develop the core knowledge and skills that are needed to embark on a range of maintenance, installation, and repair.
T Levels are two-year, Level 3 study programmes that have been developed in collaboration with employers and businesses and are equivalent to three A Levels.
You will get a mix of hands-on practical training in workshops, classroom theory learning, and a minimum 45-day industry placement with an employer to give you real experience of the workplace. They also provide excellent progression into skilled employement, degree-level study, higher apprenticeships and university.
Through this T Level you will develop an understanding of a broad range of issues relevant to the sector, with core units including:
You will need five GCSEs at grades 4-9, or equivalent (including English, maths and science)
OR
Relevant Level 2 qualification (merit or distinction grade) including GCSE English and maths grades 4-9, or equivalent.
Once completed you can progress to a range of degree-level courses, this can include HNC/HND qualifications within the college group or a degree at university.
You can also progress into skilled employment or into a higher-level apprenticeship.
