Our T Level course in Maintenance Engineering Technologies (Mechatronic) is designed for students who wish to specialise in the maintenance and repair of mechatronic systems, with an increased emphasis on electrical and mechanical components and systems.
The mechatronics specialism will introduce you to maintenance, installation and repair skills in practical contexts including mechanical and electrical machinery, electronics, control systems, computing, telecommunications, and systems engineering.
T Levels are two-year, Level 3 study programmes that have been developed in collaboration with employers and businesses and are equivalent to three A Levels.
You will get a mix of hands-on practical training in workshops, classroom theory learning, and a minimum 45-day industry placement with an employer to give you real experience of the workplace. They also provide excellent progression into skilled employment, degree-level study, higher apprenticeships and university.

You will need five GCSEs at grades 4-9, or equivalent (including English, maths and science)
OR
Relevant Level 2 qualification (merit or distinction grade) including GCSE English and maths grades 4-9, or equivalent.
Once completed you can progress to a range of degree-level courses, this can include HNC/HND qualifications within the college group or degrees at university.
You can also progress into skilled employment or into a higher-level apprenticeship.
