T Levels are two-year, Level 3 study programmes that have been developed in collaboration with employers and businesses and are equivalent to three A Levels.
You will get a mix of hands-on practical training in workshops, classroom theory learning, and a minimum 45-day industry placement with an employer to give you real experience of the workplace. They also provide excellent progression into industry, apprenticeships as well as university.
This course provides a mixture of both core and specialist knowledge over a two-year period. In year one you will learn the core knowledge for legal finance and accounting which includes but is not restricted to:
Your second year will centre around a specialism in Accounting and is aimed at those who wish to progress into the role of an Assistant Accountant. The qualification has been developed in partnership with industry experts, The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), to ensure the qualification content is current and enables you to gain industry recognised qualifications that will support you in progressing to chartered status.
In year two you will study content that has been designed to cover a range of occupational specialisms such as:
You will need five GCSEs at grades 4-9, or equivalent (including English and maths)
OR
Relevant Level 2 qualification (merit or distinction grade) including GCSE English and maths grades 4-9, or equivalent.
Once completed you can progress to a range of degree level courses, this can include HNC/HND qualifications within the college group or courses at university.
You can also progress into employment or into a higher-level apprenticeship.
