The Course in Detail

Are you interested in how buildings and infrastructure are designed and built?

Would you enjoy planning projects or preparing construction sites, ensuring they meet legal, environmental, and budgetary requirements?

This T Level will prepare you for a career in construction, specifically in surveying and design, civil engineering, building services design, or hazardous materials surveying. Currently, there is a huge shortage of skilled people in these careers, which are vital for creating sturdy, functional and safe construction projects.

You’ll build a range of skills including digital engineering, construction design, computer aided design (CAD), mathematical techniques, report writing, project management, budgeting, and surveying for construction projects.

T Levels are the new two-year, Level 3 study programmes that have been developed in collaboration with employers and businesses. You will get a mix of hands-on practical training, classroom theory learning, and a minimum 45-day industry placement with an employer to give you real experience of the workplace.
