Entry Requirements & Progression

What You'll Need

This programme is suitable for 16 – 19 year olds. A minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade A*-C / 9-4, including Grade 4 in English and Maths is required. Learners may be able to retake English or maths alongside their main study programme if they have the necessary 5 GCSEs at grade A*-C / 9-4.

For internal progression it is expected that you will have achieved a minimum of an A at Level 2 and have achieved GCSE English and Maths at Grade 4 or higher as well as demonstrating that you have upheld the college values.

You must attend an interview and demonstrate an interest in health and social care and commitment to study. You will also require a satisfactory DBS check.
