This programme combines a strong academic base with real practical experience. You will plan and execute events, create marketing strategies, develop ideas, and lead other students in projects. You’ll finish with an in-depth knowledge and skills to succeed in the business enterprise, event management or marketing industries.
You will need the ability and determination to succeed in your coursework and exams, as well as being confident, self-motivated and a good communicator, which will stand you in good stead for your research work as well as your work placement.

There is an expectation for all business enterprise and event management students to help out at college open events, fundraising opportunities, both at the college and external client-based events. Students are also expected to organise, with our help, a relevant work placement each year.
You will need five GCSEs at grades 4-9, or equivalent (including English and maths)
OR
Relevant Level 2 qualification (merit or distinction grade) including GCSE English and maths grades 4-9, or equivalent.
Upon successful completion of this Level 3 course, you can progress to a range of university-level courses, this can include HNC/HND qualifications within the college group or courses at university.
You can also progress into employment, or an apprenticeship within Media, Marketing or Events Management.
The course is a fantastic springboard into job roles such as Event Organiser, Customer Relations, Wedding Coordinator, Retail Management, Marketing Coordinator and much more.
