This entry-level apprenticeship is perfect if you’re ready to jump into the exciting world of events. You’ll typically work as part of a team within an events company or events department, supporting event planners or project managers to help plan and deliver successful events. Strong interpersonal skills, excellent organisation, and a sharp eye for detail are essential for this role.

If you’re keen to start your events career, this apprenticeship offers a fantastic foundation. You’ll learn on the job while your trainer works alongside you and your line manager to make sure you develop the knowledge, skills, and behaviours needed to succeed.

Throughout the apprenticeship, you’ll build a portfolio showcasing your skills and knowledge to meet the apprenticeship standards. Your progress will be assessed by an independent assessor through a business project and professional discussion, supported by your portfolio of evidence.

Entry Requirements & Progression

What You'll Need

You will need to have relevant employment, and entry is subject to interview and assessment.

GCSE English and maths grade 4/C or above (or Level 2 functional skills) are preferred.

This Could Lead to

Completing this apprenticeship sets you up for exciting progression opportunities in events and project management. You’ll be well-equipped to take on roles such as Event Coordinator, Assistant Event Manager, or Project Support Officer. The skills and experience you gain will also open doors to further professional development and higher-level qualifications in the events industry.

 

Assessment

Your progress will be continuously monitored and supported by a Professional Trainer.

Depending on the standard, we assess your competence through various methods, such as practical exams, assignments, interviews, project work, presentations or observations and we will also evaluate your portfolio of evidence, which documents your learning and progress throughout your apprenticeship with us.

The apprenticeship end-point assessment is the final evaluation stage of your apprenticeship programme. It's designed to determine whether you have achieved the knowledge, skills, and behaviours required to meet the apprenticeship standard and perform the job role independently.

Successful completion of the end-point assessment is required to receive certification.
