Throughout the programme, you’ll cover a range of topics including Teamwork, Communication Skills, Health and Fitness, Navigation, and Equality and Diversity. You’ll also have direct contact with various uniformed public services through presentations, visits, and activities. Past experiences include spending a day with the Royal Marines, drill and radio exercises with the Army, visits to local fire stations, and role-playing as a casualty for paramedic assessments.
In addition to classroom learning, you’ll engage in physical training and adventurous activities that mirror the demands of public service roles. You’ll develop leadership, problem-solving, and map-reading skills, and take part in volunteering to enhance your social responsibility and community awareness.
