Prepare to work in the world of hospitality and catering with our Level 2 Professional Catering course. Throughout the course, you’ll gain hands-on experience in our state-of-the-art training kitchens and our Restaurants, where you’ll cook and serve to real customers.
Your journey will begin with practical training in a variety of cooking techniques, including preparing and cooking meat, poultry, fish, and shellfish. You’ll also explore essential skills in food and beverage service, health and safety regulations, customer service, and the principles of the hospitality industry.
As part of your learning experience, you’ll participate in group practical sessions as well as individual coursework assessments, ensuring a well-rounded education.
Throughout the course, you’ll engage in industry placements, gaining invaluable real-world experience and networking opportunities.
In addition to your culinary training, you’ll benefit from enriching trips and guest lectures from industry experts, providing insights into current trends and practices. You’ll have opportunities to compete in national competitions and participate in restaurant takeovers and event management, all designed to refine your skills in a professional environment.
