The Course in Detail

*This is a progression only course. There is no direct entry without first completing Level 1 Plumbing or a similar qualification.

In this course, you’ll continue to develop your plumbing skills, learning advanced techniques that will allow you to gain employment in the industry. This will include using clips and brackets, installing cold and hot water systems, and installing and decommissioning central heating systems.

You’ll gain all the knowledge and skills required to become a skilled Plumber, plus you’ll benefit from trips, guest speakers, and a work placement to give you real experience in your future career. You could go onto work in a range of locations, in large or small businesses, or be self-employed.

What You'll Need

You will need a relevant Level 1 qualification (merit or distinction grade) including GCSE English and maths grades 4-9, or equivalent.

This Could Lead to

Upon successful completion of this Level 2 course, you may be able to progress to our T Level Building Services Engineering (Air Conditioning) or T Level Building Services Engineering (Plumbing) course to advance your skills.

Alternatively, you can go into an apprenticeship or entry level work in the industry.
