Are you eager to dive into the world of performing arts? This course offers a comprehensive exploration of all aspects of performance, from honing your skills in musical theatre, acting, dance, and singing, to understanding front-of-house operations as part of the BoxedUp Theatre Company. Throughout the year, you’ll participate in numerous performances, gaining invaluable stage experience.

Classes take place in the college’s dedicated performance studios and theatre, where you’ll engage in a variety of training methods designed to prepare you for a professional career in the arts. You’ll enhance your performance abilities, focusing on voice and speech, movement, and musical theatre. Additionally, you’ll benefit from workshops led by industry professionals, providing insights into the performing arts world. With opportunities to participate in productions and attend professional shows in London and locally, this course is your gateway to developing your talent and passion for performance.

Entry Requirements & Progression

What You'll Need

You will need five GCSEs at grades 3-9, or equivalent (including English and maths)
 
AND
 
a short solo to showcase your specialism in either singing, dancing or a monologue.

Once completed you can progress on to our Level 3 Performing Arts course.
