If you’re passionate about musical performance, this course will help you develop the skills, knowledge, and techniques you need to thrive in this competitive industry. Whether you’re a vocalist, instrumentalist, or aspiring performer, this Level 2 Diploma is designed to equip you with the foundational skills to progress onto further study or prepare for a career in music.
 
Throughout the course, you’ll learn core performance techniques and develop your rehearsal skills, preparing you for both solo and collaborative work. You’ll also explore composition, giving you the opportunity to create your own music while gaining hands-on experience in live performances.

  • Rehearsal skills
  • Performance skills
  • Composition and musical arrangement
  • Stage presence and live sound engineering
By the end of the course, you’ll have built a strong foundation in musical performance, gaining experience through both practical workshops and live performances. This course will set you up for success, whether you choose to continue your studies or step directly into the music industry.

Entry Requirements & Progression

What You'll Need

You will need five GCSEs at grades 3-9, or equivalent (including English and maths)
 
AND
 
a two-minute audition to demonstrate your practical/performance skills.

Once completed you may be able to progress onto our Level 3 Music course to advance your skills.
