The Course in Detail

Are you interested in an exciting career in business enterprise, event management or marketing? This one-year course is a fantastic place to start.

You will gain real-world experience in the industry, working directly with clients to plan and support events, as well as attend ongoing networking opportunities to connect with valuable employers and businesses.

Some of the units you will study are:

• Promoting a Brand

• Principles of Business

• Introducing Project Management

• Small Business Planning

• Working in Business Teams

There is an expectation for all business enterprise and event management students to help out at college open events, fundraising opportunities, both at the college and external client-based events. Students are also expected to organise, with our help, a relevant work placement each year.

You will need four GCSEs at grades 3-9, or equivalent (including English and maths).

This Could Lead to

Upon successful completion of this course, you may be able to progress to the Level 3 Media, Marketing & Event Management or move into an apprenticeship.
