The Course in Detail

This one-year digital industries course will give you the opportunity to explore a range of exciting topics within varied digital industries. After this course, you will have completed a digital portfolio that you can use to progress into your chosen field at Level 3 or T Level. You will delve into areas such as online world technology systems, creating digital graphics for games and design, mobile app development, software development, web design, spreadsheet development, database development, and creating a digital portfolio.

A key part of the course includes work experience, allowing you to apply your skills in a real-world setting. You will learn in a range of computer suites, including a dedicated games studio equipped with games development and simulation software, ensuring you have access to industry-standard resources as you build your expertise.

What You'll Need

You will need four GCSEs at grades 3-9, or equivalent (including English and maths).

This Could Lead to

Once completed you may be able to advance your skills and experience by progressing to our T Level Media, Broadcasting & Production or T Level Digital Production, Design & Development.

Alternatively, you may be able to progress to our Level 3 Creative Media Production or Level 3 Games Development course depending on what you wish to specialise in.
