Understanding common health conditions can help you provide better support and recognise how different conditions may affect an individual’s daily life. This course will introduce you to a range of health conditions, their signs and symptoms, treatment approaches and the support available to those affected.

Throughout the course, you’ll explore how health conditions can impact individuals and the importance of monitoring, communication and providing appropriate support. You’ll also develop an understanding of how person-centred approaches can help promote independence, wellbeing and quality of life.

On this course, you’ll explore:

  • How to monitor the health of individuals with existing conditions, including recording information and reporting changes appropriately
