The Course in Detail

This qualification introduces the fundamental principles of customer service, equipping you with the knowledge and understanding needed to deliver high-quality service in any customer-focused role. You will learn about customer expectations, effective communication, and how to handle queries, problems and complaints professionally.

 

This award is an excellent starting point for those wishing to pursue a career in customer service across a range of industries. Potential roles include:

 

  • Call Centre Operative
  • Shop Assistant
  • Hair Salon Assistant
  • Bank Assistant

After successfully completing this qualification, you may choose to progress to:

  •     Level 1 Certificate in Principles of Customer Service (RQF)
  •     Level 2 Diploma in Customer Service (RQF)

This qualification does not require you to have any prior qualifications or levels of previous learning. There will be no internal or external exams to sit, this qualification is purely graded on workbook material created by the student and marked by a college member of staff.

If you’re aged 19 or over, you could be eligible for funding in many cases, that means you won’t have to pay the full cost of your course, or anything at all.
