The Course in Detail

This course is suitable for individuals from various backgrounds who would like to develop their welding skills. The course covers a range of welding processes and is delivered in a workshop environment. You will be assessed through practical assignments and written and verbal questioning.

You will learn Welding processes including MIG, Soldering and metal fabrication.

Entry Requirements & Progression

What You'll Need

While no prior knowledge of welding is required to undertake this qualification, a strong understanding of English is required.

Please note if you have an electrical or battery device for health reasons such as a pacemaker, please consult your doctor before booking on this course.

The wearing of contact lenses is not permitted during this course. Devices such as hearing aids will be acceptable as these can be removed during welding or suitable ear protection can be worn.

Please note that you will need to purchase flame retardant overalls (boiler suit) and leather steel toe cap boots to take part in this course.
