The Course in Detail

This is a classroom based activity, with each section of BS7671: 2018 regulations forming the basis for lecture/discussion. Candidates will gain knowledge of rules applied to the design, installation and testing of electrical installations.

The level 3 certificate C&G 2382-18 is awarded on the successful completion of a multi-choice online, open book examination (examination takes place on a separate evening following course completion).

It is recognised by industry, and was developed in conjunction with the NICEIC, ECA and Summitskills; the sector skills council for building service engineering.

What You'll Need

This qualification is primarily aimed at practicing electricians with relevant experience and other allied professionals e.g. surveyors, consultants and other trades needing to update and enhance their understanding is IET wiring regulations. Successful completion of this course does not entitle a candidate to use the title electrician.

This Could Lead to

Candidates successfully completing this course could be able to progress on to one of the following: – Award in the Initial Verification & Certification Periodic Inspection of Electrical Installations (2391-52) A pre-course assessment to determine suitability will be required before enrolling on to the 2391-52 course.
