The Course in Detail

This course is for learners aged 19+ with Learning Difficulties and/or Disabilities.

Join us every week (term time) to learn a new skill of Everyday Cooking!

Students will build the confidence to cook simple recipes and get into the kitchen. 

There are seasonal themed recipes.

Everyday Cooking will cover a variety of everyday easy recipes. Previous recipes have included a mix of sweet and savoury recipes including cupcakes, spring rolls, pizza, flapjacks and more! 

Students will also learn how to use different kitchen equipment and the fundamentals of food hygiene.

What You'll Need

There are no entry requirements for our Adult Enrichment and Adult Community Learning Courses.

Our friendly Adult Community Learning team will be in contact once we have received your application so we can assess your suitability for the course. This course is part of our Adult Enrichment Programme.

Students who join Everyday Cooking may want to look at participating in other cooking courses in the local area.

Students may also want to look at joining our other Adult Enrichment Courses.
