CEMAST

Our Centre of Excellence in Engineering, Manufacturing and Advanced Skills Training (CEMAST) is an outstanding provider of career-led courses, including T Levels and Higher Technical Qualifications. Our courses will open the doors to many exciting progression and career opportunities.

Convenient Location

CEMAST is located on the Daedalus Airfield on the B3385 to Lee-on-the-Solent, next to our Civil Engineering Training Centre (CETC). 

It’s easily accessible from a range of locations across the area, plus we run free buses from Fareham College to CEMAST regularly each day. 

The centre’s large contemporary concourse provides a light, bright area in which to work or relax between classes, with plenty of seating, tables and workstations, as well as an on-site café.

Students based at CEMAST will also have full access to the facilities at Fareham College.

Specialist Facilities

CEMAST and its new Institute of Technology (IoT) house a range of high-tech tools and machinery, ensuring you have access to the most up-to-date industry-standard equipment.

Aeronautical and Aerospace students benefit from specialist training facilities including full‑size aircraft and composite repair benches

Motor Vehicle students benefit from a fully functioning garage, diagnostic tools and track-ready racing cars onsite

Maritime students benefit from specialised equipment for marine engine maintenance, welding, thermodynamics, hydraulic, mechanical and electronic practical work

Engineering and Manufacturing students train in high-class workshops featuring a range of advanced machining technologies including 3D printing
