Do you enjoy working with people and want to play a key role in connecting individuals with the right opportunities? Or perhaps you’re already working in recruitment and want to build on your skills to progress your career?
Recruiters manage the full recruitment process — from planning campaigns and sourcing candidates to guiding successful applicants through onboarding. They can be found across all industries and sectors, working either in-house within an organisation or for specialist recruitment businesses.
This apprenticeship is well suited to people who are confident communicators, enjoy building relationships, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. You will need strong organisational skills, the ability to work independently, and the drive to meet targets and deadlines. As an apprentice, you will develop your skills in the workplace with the support of your line manager, while also taking part in knowledge-based workshops led by a professional trainer.
By completing this apprenticeship, you will benefit from:
The apprenticeship is built around developing the key knowledge, skills, and behaviours required to be a successful recruiter. Learning takes place both in the workplace and through structured workshops.
Core areas of study include:
Throughout the apprenticeship, you will build a portfolio of evidence to showcase your learning and demonstrate your skills. Assessment takes place at the end of the apprenticeship with an independent assessor, through a presentation with a Q&A session and a professional discussion underpinned by your portfolio.
You will need to have relevant employment, and entry is subject to interview and assessment.
GCSE English and maths grade 4/C or above (or Level 2 functional skills) are preferred.
After successful completion of this Level 3 apprenticeship, and dependant on your job role, you may have the opportunity to upskill to a higher level apprenticeship or into more senior recuitment roles.
Your progress will be continuously monitored and supported by a Professional Trainer.
Depending on the standard, we assess your competence through various methods, such as practical exams, assignments, interviews, project work, presentations or observations and we will also evaluate your portfolio of evidence, which documents your learning and progress throughout your apprenticeship with us.
The apprenticeship end-point assessment is the final evaluation stage of your apprenticeship programme. It's designed to determine whether you have achieved the knowledge, skills, and behaviours required to meet the apprenticeship standard and perform the job role independently.
Successful completion of the end-point assessment is required to receive certification.
