The Course in Detail
Develop the skills to lead AI-driven change within your organisation. You’ll learn how to identify opportunities for AI, assess potential benefits and risks, and make informed decisions about adopting AI solutions that support your organisation’s long-term goals.
You’ll explore how AI can affect your workforce, including developing new skills, adapting roles and planning for changes in job requirements. You’ll also consider the wider impact of AI on your organisation, including suppliers and people who may face barriers to accessing digital technology.
Throughout the unit, you’ll develop your understanding of responsible and ethical AI use, learning how to identify and manage risks, meet relevant regulations and security requirements, and monitor AI systems to identify issues such as bias, changing performance and security vulnerabilities. You’ll also explore how to communicate the opportunities and challenges of AI clearly to colleagues, stakeholders and other audiences.
By the end of the unit, you’ll be better equipped to lead AI adoption, support your workforce through change and ensure AI is used responsibly, effectively and sustainably to deliver long-term value for your organisation.
Please note: This course is not a full apprenticeship. It is a standalone apprenticeship training course focused on developing relevant skills and knowledge.
This course runs over six weeks, with five 5-hour sessions held on Friday mornings (25 hours in total).
