This course is ideal for anyone looking to develop their knowledge of supporting individuals, families and those close to them during the end of life care journey.
Providing compassionate and person-centred care at the end of life requires understanding, sensitivity and respect. This course will help you explore the principles of end of life care, including how to support an individual’s physical, emotional and practical needs during this important stage of life.
Throughout the course, you’ll develop an understanding of different approaches to end of life care, the importance of care planning and how to provide support for individuals, families and carers. You’ll also explore the impact of loss and grief, including how to offer appropriate support following bereavement.
