The Course in Detail

This course is for you to become more self-aware. It teaches you the importance of learning how to breathe deeply, to perform yoga postures to your own limits (no competition or comparison), and the importance of relaxation to relieve tension in the body and mind.

You will be practicing yoga poses to stretch and strengthen your body through demonstration, observation, and practice. Yoga sees mind, body, and spirit as a whole and works with your entire being. You will be encouraged to listen to your own body and work within the limits you feel comfortable with.

Course fee concessions are possible – eligibility is based on income.

What You'll Need

This course is for learners aged 19 and above.
There are no formal entry requirements for this course – this course is suitable for learners at all experience levels. in respect of this workshop.

Yoga is generally suitable for everyone, but if you have serious health concerns, you may wish to consult your doctor before applying.

Calm your mind and body with our affordable Yoga for Health course – working out at just over £6.50 per 1.5-hour lesson.

This course will give you the opportunity to de-stress, learn beneficial breathing techniques, and try out a new hobby as part of a supportive and non-judgemental community.

Through connecting with yourself taking this time to release the stress and tension in your body and mind, you will develop a positive frame of mind which will open up opportunities in wider areas of your life.
