The Course in Detail

*This is a progression only course. There is no direct entry without first completing Level 2 Professional Catering or a similar qualification.

This is an excellent spring board for a career as a restaurant or bar manager. You will learn, develop and practise your food and beverage service skills in our popular Aspire Restaurant in addition to gaining supervisory and specialist skills.

Entry Requirements & Progression

What You'll Need

You will need a relevant Level 2 qualification (merit or distinction grade) including GCSE English and maths grades 4-9, or equivalent.

This Could Lead to

Once completed you can progress directly into employment in a range of roles including: Restaurant Supervisor, Bar Manager, Sommelier, Event Manager, Trainee Banquet Manager or into further education to study hospitality management. You can also progress into an apprenticeship.
