The Course in Detail

This Level 3 Games Development course at Fareham College is a practical technical game design course.  You will gain critical thinking skills to develop your game ideas into 3D game environments. 

The course will provide you with industry standard developer skills using a wide range of high-end industry software including Unity, Unreal Engine & Adobe Photoshop.  You will create your own gaming experiences from concept to finish, with an opportunity to present your project management skills to showcase your creations to our local stakeholders. 

You will be assessed by practical and written assignments, presentations and recorded work and gain significant workplace experience with a local employer during this course.

What You'll Need

Five GCSEs at grade 9-4 including English and Maths, or a full Level 2 qualification with a merit profile and grades 9-4 in GCSE English and Maths.
