The VRQ Level 3 Beauty Therapy is an internationally recognised qualification within the beauty industry and will allow you to gain employment within the beauty industry.
Your theory and practical work will be continually assessed throughout the course. A portfolio will be built up containing practical assessments, mandatory exams and workbooks. The course is a careful balance of theory and practical work.
An insight into the career prospects of beauty therapy can be gained when we visit the industry’s largest Beauty Exhibition in London, as well as having visiting speakers from major product companies and a college department industry week.
This qualification has the following pre-requisite:
VTCT Level 2 Diploma in Beauty Specialist Techniques
OR
VTCT Level 2 VRQ Diploma in Beauty Therapy General
OR
An acceptable equivalent.
All part time learners will be required to complete an English diagnostic assessment to aid in the theory element of the course. The link will be sent out to you through our admissions department and can be completed at home. If English is your second language, you must hold an ESOL level 1 qualification.
An information evening will be set up before the start date of the course in order for you to meet with your tutors and gain as much information prior to the commencement date of the course as possible. You will be informed of the dates by our admissions department.
