This short course will involve demonstrations of seasonal designs celebrating the theme of spring. A range of designs, both traditional and contemporary, will be taught and learners will have the opportunity to create these arrangements, making wonderful decorations for your home, or gifts for friends and family.
A selection of materials will be incorporated throughout the course using some preserved and dried items, as well as fresh flowers and foliage.
Learners will gain confidence through hands on experience of creating the designs, along with developing skills in conditioning materials and tips on using colour and textures.
This is a leisure course and does not lead to a qualification. However, a college certificate will be issued upon completion of the course.
This hands on course will give you a taste of what it takes to create your own beautiful floral displays. You’ll learn the specialist skills needed to work with flowers and foliage.
The programme offers a fun and inspiring way to develop a much-loved hobby or kick-start a new one. You’ll be learning alongside other engaged and enthusiastic students.
The college run a variety of horticultural and creative courses – please browse the website for further details.
