This is a beginners course; topics will include:
– Basic grounding in hot and cold water systems, central heating, showering, domestic sanitary ware and other topics
– Identification of system types
– Awareness of water bylaws
– Use of basic plumbing tools and other equipment
– Measuring, cutting, bending and jointing pipe and tube
– Maintenance of taps and valves
There will be other practical work as time allows.
A College Certificate will be awarded on request.
