The Course in Detail

At each session you will learn about different styles of music and explore different cultures and sounds.  We will be listening to new songs and some old favourites and play along using percussion instruments. 

This is a leisure course so there will be no assessments or qualifications.  An Eastleigh College certificate will be issued at the end of the course.

Our friendly Adult Community Learning team will be in contact once we have received your application so we can assess your suitability for the course.

This course is part of our Adult Enrichment Programme which is designed to offer a range of opportunities for adult learners with mild to moderate learning disabilities.  All that is required is an enthusiasm to take part and learn.

Do you love listening to music and creating your own sounds?  Come and join our weekly Music Workshop, a fun and social class specifically tailored for adults with mild to moderate learning disabilities.

This is a leisure course designed to be fun and engaging.  Whilst there is no official progression, learners are welcome to re-enrol on to this course or try one of our other Adult Enrichment Courses.
