The Course in Detail

This project-based programme will provide you with the knowledge and skills required to achieve industry-standard competence within a range of textiles and fashion skills. With a mixture of classroom and work-based learning you will develop the technical and interpersonal skills that will allow you to embark upon a career in the fashion industry.
 
Your occupational specialist industry placement will consist of a minimum of 45 days with a media-oriented employer to deploy the skills you are developing in a real-world working environment. When combined with the classroom-based qualification you will gain invaluable experience, additional UCAS points, and a flavour of how the fashion industry operates.

All Craft & Design (Fashion Pathway) T Levels include an employer-set project including the following:

  • Pitching and planning
  • Research
  • Product development
  • Product creation
  • Reflective evaluations

Entry Requirements & Progression

What You'll Need

Five GCSEs at grade 9-4 including Maths and English, OR a full Level 2 qualification with a Merit profile AND grades 9-4 in Maths and English.

This Could Lead to

This grade attained from this qualification will attract a generous UCAS tariff which will lead to opportunities in Higher Education. This T Level also provides a route directly into employment as learners will have an industry recognised technical qualification.
