Global Business and Logistics plays a significant part in everyday life, ensuring the supply chain for all goods, products and services, reach the end user. This includes food, clothes, medicine (and just about everything else) being transported via road, sea, air and rail to their destination.
It is a sector of considerable opportunity for young people, providing an opportunity to develop a wide range of job skills and specialisms. These include warehousing, supply chain management, and freight forwarding. In addition, every retail organisation has a supply chain, so this is an area where there are multiple opportunities for employment for people who have a sound knowledge and understanding of logistics.
Choosing a logistics career pathway also offers many international employment opportunities – as well as all over the UK.
