The Course in Detail

If you wish to embark on a career working in recruitment, or are already working in a recruitment role but need to develop your skills, knowledge and gain a recognised qualification, then the Recruitment Resourcer Apprenticeship is for you.

Your role would be to identify, attract and shortlist candidates for the recruitment process to fulfil the requirements of your business, and to provide resourcing support to the recruitment function.

A career in recruitment provides the opportunity for reward and high earning potential. Many opportunities arise for professional and personal development within the recruitment sector with transferable skills being respected throughout industry as a whole.

This apprenticeship standard covers the core skills, knowledge and behaviours to demonstrate competency of a Recruitment Resourcer and covers key requirements to include:

  • Researching, identifying and attracting candidates using all appropriates methods to satisfy job requirements
  • Writing, placing and updating adverts in line with company procedures
  • Qualifying, shortlisting and presenting suitable candidates against defined job vacancies
  • Assisting in the recruitment and selection processes by effectively liaising with the candidates and internal teams
  • Organisational skills
  • Good questioning and listening skills
  • Attention to detail

You will develop your skills, knowledge and behaviours through on and off-the-job training and are expected to attend College for pre-arranged masterclasses.

Entry Requirements & Progression

What You'll Need

You will need to have relevant employment, and entry is subject to interview and assessment.

GCSE English and maths grade 4/C or above (or Level 2 functional skills) are preferred.

This Could Lead to

Successful completion of the Recruitment Resourcer Apprenticeship may provide you with the opportunity to progress into a number of other roles within the industry, or to progress onto the Level 3 Recruitment Consultancy Apprenticeship.

 

Assessment

Your progress will be continuously monitored and supported by a Professional Trainer.

Depending on the standard, we assess your competence through various methods, such as practical exams, assignments, interviews, project work, presentations or observations and we will also evaluate your portfolio of evidence, which documents your learning and progress throughout your apprenticeship with us.

The apprenticeship end-point assessment is the final evaluation stage of your apprenticeship programme. It's designed to determine whether you have achieved the knowledge, skills, and behaviours required to meet the apprenticeship standard and perform the job role independently.

Successful completion of the end-point assessment is required to receive certification.
