The Course in Detail

This Kickstart programme is designed to give you the skills, confidence and independence to progress further in your studies.

It allows you to build on your study skills, soft skills needed for college and employment, as well as giving you the opportunity to research other vocational areas within the college. You will also study English and maths as part of your programme.

You will also have the opportunity to spend time in a vocational area to experience the requirements of the vocational courses within areas such as Art & Design, Beauty and Health.

What You'll Need

This course is suitable for individuals who have had an unsuccessful academic journey and have not met the entry requirements for their chosen learning programme.

You will need to be 16-18 years of age.

To access this course you will need to attend an interview.

This programme can lead to a vocational course at college subject to your individual performance, attitude and attendance, or into work.
