The Level 1 Award in Introduction to Employment in Business Administration (RQF) will provide you with the basic knowledge, skills and understanding in order to work in administrative support in an office. The skills gained will support your development as an:
• administrative assistant
• receptionist or other related roles
This qualification does not require you to have any prior qualifications or levels of previous learning. There will be no internal or external exams to sit, this qualification is purely graded on workbook material created by the student and marked by a college member of staff.
This qualification will also provide you with a foundation to enable progression onto the Intermediate Apprenticeship in Business and Administration or into employment.
Learners who achieve this qualification could also progress onto the:
• Level 2 Diploma in Business Administration (RQF)
• Level 2 Diploma in Customer Service (RQF)

If you’re aged 19 or over, you could be eligible for funding in many cases, that means you won’t have to pay the full cost of your course, or anything at all.
