The Course in Detail

This introductory festive course will teach learners how to make and decorate a range of items ready for the festive season. We will aim to cover the following:

Week 1 – Bake and decorate traditional Shrewsbury Biscuits

Week 2 – Creme egg Easter Eggs

Week 3 – Decorate Cupcakes with floral piped buttercream

Week 4 – Create your own Easter egg Easter gifts.  Food hygiene, health and safety will also be taught.

There are no formal entry requirements in respect of this course. No previous knowledge or experience is required.

This Could Lead to

Whilst this course does not have a formal qualification at the end, it is a fantastic way to bring a personal touch to your Easter celebrations this year and widen your skills with hands-on learning material among a group of like-minded baking enthusiasts. The programme will also give you the opportunity to dip your toes in to this potential new career avenue before taking the full dive. Learners love the Easter Baking and Decorating for Beginners course as it is in-depth enough to leave you with a genuine new skill which can enhance your own Easter celebrations while being a fun and stimulating way to pick up a fresh hobby.
